MUZAFFARNAGAR: Shailja Sharma, a 37-year old 2013 batch IAS officer who’s now published in Bihar and is initially from Uttar Pradesh’s Muzaffarnagar district, has accused her husband of breaking into her home and attempting to strangle her and her daddy. According to her criticism, an FIR has been registered at the district along with also her spouse, Rajeev Nayan, who’s a senior officer with the Haryana government, was detained.
Deputy superintendent of police (Brand New Mandi) Dhananjay Kushwaha told TOI,”The accused is a regional labor commissioner at Haryana government’s labor department and can be published in Gurugram. He’s been detained and sent to prison. Additional evaluation is based on and the actions will be taken so.”
In her complaint to the Muzaffarnagar authorities, Shailja had stated,”I’d come to my home at Muzaffarnagar on July 31. On August 1, my husband Rajeev Nayan broke open the door and barged into the home with the incorrect intention. He mistreated us when my father attempted to prevent him, he assaulted us and attempted to strangle me.”
She alleged that her husband had been in an adulterous relationship with another girl and was occupying her and their daughter.
Following the complaint filed by her in New Mandi police station, the Haryana officer was reserved under divisions 307 (attempt to murder), 452 (house-trespass later prep for harm, assault or wrongful restraint), 352 (punishment for injury or criminal force differently than on grave provocation), 504 (deliberate insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace), 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code and also 66B of this Information Technology Act.
Shailja is presently published in Bihar as joint secretary at the street building section. She was given that the e-commerce award in Mumbai in February while she had been the district magistrate of Saharsa.
