KOLKATA: The West Bengal government has convened an all-party assembly on Wednesday to go over the coronavirus scenario from the nation, a senior minister said. Chief minister Mamata Banerjee will preside over the assembly, which is very likely to be attended by leaders of political parties with representation at the state meeting, the ministry said on Monday.
The assembly will be held in the state secretariat Nabanna on Wednesday afternoon.
Speaker Biman Banerjee are also present in the assembly, ” he explained.
“Aside from the coronavirus-related scenario, talks are also stored on the lockdown from the country. Some political parties have been requesting an all-party match, therefore it’s been determined to hold such match where exchange of views can happen,” he added.
The West Bengal government had convened a similar meeting to hold talks about the pandemic in March shortly after the nationally lockdown began.
Complete 555 individuals infected from the coronavirus expired in the country till Sunday, although the favorable instance tally attained 13,531, according to the medical area.
