BANKURA: A court on Wednesday sentenced a person to lifetime imprisonment for the murder of his girl friend whom he had uttered to a societal networking website and lured her into Madhya Pradesh from her house about the false claim of becoming her a job in the united states. After murdering the girl, her body has been placed in a back and entombed in the chemical of the guy’s dwelling in Bhopal.
Quick Track Court, Bankura, Judge Suresh Biswakarma, who declared Udayan Das accountable for murdering Akanksha Sharma (28) on Tuesday, sentenced him to life sentence in prison Wednesday.
Chief public prosecutor Arun Chattopadhyay prayed for departure sentence into Das asserting that it was a heinous offense and rarest of uncommon in character.
Abhishek Biswas, the attorney representing Das, stated an appeal is going to probably be transferred prior to a high court challenging the certainty.
The prosecution had filed before the courtroom during trial that Sharma had abandoned her house at Rabindra Sarani here on June 23, 2016 notifying her parents who she had been visiting the USA for employment in an global aid agency.
On hitting the house of Das in Saketnagar at Bhopal, the girl realised that she was duped by Das, which resulted in disagreements between her and the guy.
The prosecution filed on July 15, 2016, Das strangled Sharma to departure and entombed her entire body in a stage at the compound of the property.
It advised the court that after the murder, Das utilized Sharma’s phone and sent messages for her loved ones impersonating her to assert that she had been functioning from the USA, but couldn’t speak to them over telephone because she was to find a SIM card from that nation.

Suspecting something was amiss since they couldn’t speak to her for many months and had just obtained any text messages from her phone, Sharma’s relatives lodged a lost journal at Bankura Sadar police station.

Shivendra Narayan Sharma, the girl’s father, lodged a case of kidnapping from Das on January 5, 2017, after the Bankura Police went to Bhopal and detained him on February 1, 2017.
Das confessed to his offense through questioning and Sharma’s remains were retrieved from a back below the tomb at the compound of his house, Chattopadhyay advised the courtroom.
He explained that the authorities filed the chargesheet in the case within 90 days of their arrest and 19 witnesses were analyzed through trial.
Das can be accused of murdering his parents in Raipur. He supposedly buried their bodies in the chemical of the home there after murdering them.
Satisfied with the sentence,” Sharma’s brother Ayush stated they were awaiting the day of conclusion, while her parents stated that though they desired death sentence, they believed satisfied because the life sentence could provide peace to their kid’s spirit.
