Not able to play with PUBG, student kills himself in West Bengal: Police | Kolkata News


KALYANI: A 21-year-old pupil supposedly took his life West Bengal‘s Nadia district for not having the ability to play PUBG, authorities said on Sunday. Pritam Halder, an ITI pupil, was discovered hanging in his home at Purba Lalpur at Chakdaha police station area, he said.
After having breakfast on Friday morning, Pritam moved into his space, his mom Ratna explained.
“After I moved to call him for supper, his room had been locked from inside. After repeated bangings if he didn’t open the door, I predicted the neighbors. They broke into the area and found him hanging from the ceiling fan,” she explained.
Authorities said they’ve registered a case of unnatural death.
Ratna maintained his son was frustrated for not being able to play with PUBG.
“He’d play with it at night. I believe he died by suicide because he wasn’t having the ability to play with PUBG,” she explained.
Authorities stated that after speaking to the family members that they consider that Pritam murdered himself for not having the ability to play with the mobile game, that was obstructed by the authorities on Wednesday.
Pritam’s dad Biswajit Halder is a retired Armyman and the mom is a homemaker. In addition they have a girl.
