Cops in the home of Jai Bajpayee

Kanpur: Police kickstarted proceeding late Saturday to unite possessions of murdered gangster Vikas Dubey’s financier, Jaikant Bajpai, along with his three brothers at posh Brahmnagar locality along with different regions of the city. While Bajpai was detained shortly after the Bikru ambush, his brothers surrendered in Kanpur Dehat courtroom on Friday.
Notices were glued on homes of Jaikant along with his three brothers — Rajnikant, Ajaikant and Shobhit Bajpai — that had been reserved under Gangster Act on Tuesday. Police implemented the proceeding with beating drums.
Before, Kanpur SSP Preetinder Singh submitted a report on the district government, saying Jaikant Bajpai along with his three brothers had amassed wealth and financed criminal actions of murdered don Vikas Dubey, after the DM ordered attachment of multi-crore assets. Including four homes and bungalows at Brahmanagar worth Rs 20crore, two apartments in Arya Nagar of Rs crore, a duplex at Panki of Rs two crore, home in Swaroop Nagar worth Rs 4 crore and plots in Singhpur and Bithoor worth Rs 7crore.
On Sunday, officials sealed Bajpai’s 111/481 Brahmnagar home worth Rs 5 crore after evacuating three renters at a post-midnight operation. Then a part of some other home in precisely the exact same area, which was purchased seven decades back was sealed. Subsequently House No. 107/298 worth Rs 3 crore was sealed by which Bajpai’s mom and other relatives lived. Afterwards, a 4-crore bungalow where Bajpai’s spouse Shweta and their kids would remain has been sealed.
“We’ve attached four immovable possessions of Jaikant. Other properties could be connected in next couple of days,” stated tehsildar Atul Kumar. Cops from three police stations together with PAC jawans were deployed throughout the sealing drive.
Before, Nazirabad police initiated actions against Bajpai beneath Gangsters Act because he was working a gang along with his brothers and has been involved in procuring unauthorised ownership on government property and gratified in money laundering. Following Bajpai’s arrest, his three brothers moved into hiding. Authorities had announced a Rs 25,000 reward on every one of them before they surrendered .
