Kanpur:The state authorities on Saturday moved SSP Dinesh Kumar P to Jhansi.
Based on a statement issued from the authorities, Preetinder Singh was made the new deputy inspector general/senior superintendent of police of Kanpur. He was previously the DIG Aligarh range.
Dinesh Kumar P was published as Jhansi SSP, ” the release stated. Transport of SSP Dinesh Kumar P comes amid kidnapping and murdering of a 28-year-old laboratory technician Sanjeet Yadav where part of the authorities has come under blur. The victim’s family alleged that kidnappers had escaped using a ransom of Rs 30 lakh at the presence of authorities. A research has also been arranged in this respect.
On July 23 five accused Gyanendra, Kuldeep, Neelu, Ramji, Preeti were detained by law enforcement.
Two of them, Kuldeep and Ramji were Sanjeet’s buddies and had previously worked at other laboratory. They’d confessed of murdering Sanjeet and afterwards dumping his body in Pandu river on June 27.
They stated they had obtained a room on lease at Ratan Lal Nagar to maintain the captive. Searches with the support of PAC divers are still underway in Pandu river to fish outside the entire body of Sanjeet, authorities said.
Before on Friday, 11 police employees such as an IPS officer had been suspended from the kidnapping case. SP South Aparna Gupta, DSP Manoj Gupta, former inspector in control of Barra Ranjeet Rai, outpost accountable for Rajesh Kumar, sub-inspector Yogendra Pratap Singh and six constables were suspended negligence charge.
