JAIPUR: Sanjay Jain, the middleman enticed by the SOG from the alleged conspiracy to overthrow the Congress authorities by horse trading of its MLAs, on Friday refused to donate his voice sample for testing.
The SOG will move the high-profile to find the voice sample of Jain who had been detained after being supposedly captured on audio tapes talking the’plot’ to topple the country authorities.
The SOG had filed an application in the metropolitan court number 2 for voice sample.
Jain was created before a local court on Friday where he refused to donate his voice sample, stating he doesn’t have faith at the SOG probe as well as also the Forensic Science Laboratory report could be manipulated.
Jain was acting as a middleman and the Congress asserts he’s a BJP leader, a charge denied by the opposition party.
“Since the accused isn’t co-operating together with the analysis by refusing to present his voice sample at the courtroom, we’ll take further legal measures and approach the large court in this issue ,” ADG (SOG) Ashok Rathore stated.
Rathore farther said an SOG group was residing in Manesar of Haryana to follow rebel Congress MLA Bhanwarlal Sharma.
Jain was detained July 17 later he had been supposedly heard speaking to now suspended Congress MLA Bhanwarlal Sharma and Gajendra Singh, that the Congress asserts is Union minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, at the sound tapes.
Congress chief whip Mahesh Joshi had lodged a complaint with the SOG after which the bureau had quieted two FIRs against them.
