JAIPUR: For seven days in a row, the state put a new record for largest single-day spike of new ailments as 1,347 persons tested positive for Covid on Tuesday, carrying the cumulative count to 63,977.
Jaipur reported that the largest single-day leap of 247 new illnesses taking its tally to 7,773. Additionally, 10 men were discovered infected from samples obtained from Rajasthan High Court, Jaipur.

For the very first time, 59 different areas in town reported 247 instances, signaling that the virus had spread to virtually all pieces of Jaipur. At the past 24 hours, 11 persons died taking the country’s toll on 898. Udaipur reported that its 19th Covid passing, while three men died in Jaipur taking its toll on 238. Three men also expired in Bikaner carrying its deaths to 63, two died in Barmer carrying its casualties into 17 and Ajmer reported its own 61st Covid passing while Sriganganagar reported its 6th fatality.
Moreover, 1,306 persons conquered the virus Tuesday carrying the tally of recovered individuals to 48,960. The busy instances touched fresh high of 14,119 on Tuesday, up from 14,089 on Monday. Presently, Jaipur gets the maximum number of active instances at 2239, followed by Kota (1916), Jodhpur (1811) and Alwar (1294).
