KOTA: A 55-year-old girl was murdered on the spot while four others like a pregnant woman sustained injuries following the evacuation they were traveling in overturned near Borekhedi village on NH-52 beneath Eklera police channel of Jhalawar on Friday.
The human body was put at mortuary for postmortem.
The injured are undergoing medical treatment in Jhalawar district hospital and are reportedly from danger.
“An ambulance had been carrying a pregnant girl for shipping from Mangalpura village beneath Bhalta police station to Jhalawar district hospital. It overturned near Borekhedi village on NH -52 on Friday afternoon,” stated Anil Pandey, SHO, Eklera police channel.
A 55-year old girl, identified as Bhurabai, resident of Borekhedi village beneath Bhalta police station, was killed in the accident while four others at the ambulance who had been diagnosed as Krishana, the pregnant girl, Kaisar Singh, Ghanshyam and Salagram continued accidents, he said.
The dead person was the mother-in-law of this pregnant girl. Her husband, husband and a medical team were hurt in the incident, he added.
