KOTA: A 40-year old drunk guy died allegedly by hanging his home Thursday in Dabhadeh village at Rajasthan‘s Kota district, authorities said. A case of unnatural death was filed under Section 174 (authorities to request and report suicide) of CrPC, they included.
The deceased has been identified as Phoolchand Odde, son of Heeralal and also a resident of Dabhadeh village beneath Modak police station limits.
The guy was always consuming spirits at his home for the past two days. For this reason, his wife compelled him to attend a condolence service in her parent’s house in a village in Bundi district, Modak police station SHO Bharat Singh stated.
Following a lengthy drinking bout on Wednesday night, Odde is thought to have hanged himself from the ceiling fan in the room at the wee hours of Thursday, the policeman said.
The guy 14-year-old boy, that had been asleep in the area, awakened early Thursday morning and discovered that his father’s dead body. He predicted the neighbors and the authorities were advised, the SHO added.
The true reason for the death is apparent only after getting the post-mortem report and conclusion of research into the subject, he said.
The authorities handed over the body to relatives following the post-mortem, he added.
