JAIPUR: At an aid to agriculture dealers, the Rajasthan government has opted to expand the interest waiver scheme until September 30 for the retrieval of outstanding mandi fee along with additional curricular.
Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has consented to the suggestions received in this respect from the Department of Agricultural Marketing to give aid to agriculture dealers in light of this coronavirus pandemic and lockdown, an official announcement said.
A entire quantity of Rs 68 crore, such as mandi fee, allocation fee along with other arrears, was exceptional until September 30, 2019.
For the recovery of the sum, the authorities had fixed a deadline of March 31, 2020 to cover the expected leader and gave 75 percent reduction to the interest payable.
Before the length of the amnesty scheme has been extended from March 31 into June 30, that has been extended until September 30, 2020.
Likewise, the state government had begun a strategy for recovery of outstanding dues on Mandi responsibility on sugar and commodities imported from other nations. The deadline to pay the dues was June 30, which likewise has been extended until September 30.
