KOTA: A physician of a government-run Community Health Centre in Ramganjmandi at Kota district was supposedly captured red-handed on Friday by ACB sleuths while taking a bribe of Rs ,000 by an individual for issuing him a favourable medico-legal certification.
Jhalawar ACB’s added superintendent of authorities Bhawanishankar Meena stated Dr Rajesh Kumar of Ramganjmandi CHC was arrested on the complaint of Kishore Kumar, a resident of Teliyakhedi village, by whom the physician had demanded a bribe of Rs 10,000 for devoting him a medico-legal certification.
Kishore’s dad had supposedly been beaten up by two guys a couple of days back along with a situation in this respect was lodged in the Ramganjmandi police station, said Meena, including the physician was demanding the bribe for issuing a certification without diluting the character of accidents suffered Kishore’s daddy.
Kishore had given $ 1,500 into the physician shortly after he hunted the paychecks and promised to provide him the residual sum after, stated Meena, including Kishore subsequently lodged a complaint with Jhalwar Anti-Corruption Bureau.
On ACB instructions, Kishore fulfilled the physician again and gave him $ 1,500 while agreeing with the physician to bring his need to Rs 8,000 and the physician agreed to take the rest of the sum of Rs ,000 on Friday.
After assessing the validity of Kishore’s complaint, the ACB sleuths laid a trap and delivered the complainant to meet with the physician at his official home using chemically-treated Rs ,000.
Shortly after Kishore handed over the cash to the physician, the ACB sleuths swooped on him and detained him after recovering the money out of his trouser’s pocket.
The detained doctor would be made prior to the particular ACB courtroom on Friday, said Meena.
