JAIPUR: A 29-year old police constable committed suicide at Sikar‘s Dhod police station region by drowning himself in a water tank Binjasi village on Sunday morning.
Constable Yogindra Singh’s body has been discovered at the tank following the family discovered him missing from his space.
Amit Kumar, SHO, Dhod police station, told TOI,”For the past 6-7 weeks, the constable was on medical leave and has been seemingly undergoing therapy for depression. On Sunday morning, once the family members moved to his area, he had been missing and they found him at the water tank inside their house’s assumptions.”
The dead constable was published in Bhankrota police station before he proceeded on leave and was in the force for the previous six decades.
“The family educated us about 6. 30am and we immediately went to the place and took him into the hospital where he had been declared dead,” added the officer.
Family members stated Yogindra was participated and was to have married in the coming days. He was among the four sisters and needed a brother serving at the Border Security Force (BSF).
In under two weeks, six police employees have committed suicide Rajasthan, together with the previous one being in Kota within a month past. Senior cops are worried about the sudden audience nature of those instances. With no verified reasons for some of those suicides up to now, the police government contended they are taking a look at ways to take care of the issue, that has cropped up in a point when lockdown has been eased in the nation.
