AJMER: A supervisor, working for 2 sisters in Ajmer, has been detained on Monday for concocting a tale of loot to avoid repaying the money. The accused, Kailash Gupta (37), had lodged a complaint on July 15 in Ramganj police channel he was robbed of Rs 55 lakh by 2 bike-borne persons. On Monday it was disclosed that Gupta’s story didn’t hold true. Actually he’d dropped Rs 55 lakh in gambling. Gupta was detained for registering imitation complaint with the authorities.
Authorities, after receiving criticism of loot, had scanned the region where the alleged offense happened. They, nevertheless, couldn’t find any indications. On interrogation, Gupta confessed that he had made the story up.
Gupta told the authorities he had got the idea after studying similar news in papers. Gupta, who functions as boss for Sunil and Anil Arora, additionally worked as healing representative for the duo.
