JAIPUR: Together with coordinated efforts, Jaipur authorities on Monday was able to decode the case of ATM prosecution where robbers decamped with nearly Rs 23. 85 lakh out of Mohana police station area from town.
Police arrested three individuals, such as a Kashmiri childhood, in this relationship while four other recognized detained were in large. Police said that everybody in the gang had a well-defined character and following the prosecution the money was dispersed along with also the robbers even deposited into the banks.
Authorities also have recovered gas cutters, blow pipes, gas tanks, ATM system boxes, a car and a bicycle from the ownership of the detained accused Devendra alias Deva of Haryana, Ranjan Kumar, a resident of Gurugram and Abdul Waheed, a resident of Jammu and Kashmir.
Added commissioner (crime) Ashok Kumar Gupta stated during interrogation of accused Abdul Waheed, it came to light he was able to work in an organization and work for saffron distribution when remaining in Patrakar Colony of Mansarover. “As he had no job throughout the lockdown he intended to rob an ATM. He came in touch with a single Devendra alias Deva who had been recently bailed out at a 2017 instance of robbery 30pound gold and Rs 8 lakh from Manappuram Gold Loan office at Gurgaon,” Gupta added.
“They deposited the cash in banks and efforts are about to regain the money they’ve robbed,” he added.
Authorities stated that Deva understood a number of those Meo gangs that are masters in cutting edge ATM machines in seconds. “They contacted a few of the associates of Meo gangs who cut on the machine and just find their remuneration,” he added.
Shortly after the episode, many groups were formed. “Primarily we captured Devendra out of Kaithal from Haryana and also the next group detained Ranjan Kumar from Gurgaon and the third group detained Abdul Waheed out of Jaipur,” he added.
Police feel that the entire gang members had earlier acquaintance with all the Meo gangs. “We’ve detained three of these and if another four that have been responsible for cutting on the ATM machine have been captured the image would be apparent,” Gupta added.
Authorities said each of the gang members see different areas of the nation and take home on lease on the pretext of functioning in a multi-national firm. Each of these had well defined functions from recce to implementing the prosecution and cutting on the machine.
Both detained were connected with Meo gang and had previous acquaintance. Authorities said additional interrogation of the accused could bring them any clues in additional ATM robberies since it seems that they had been in contact for quite a while. Additionally the three accused arrived to Jaipur per month ago if there was a comfort in the lockdown.
