PM Modi expresses grief over loss of lives as boat capsizes in Rajasthan’s Kota | Jaipur News


JAIPUR: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday expressed despair over the ship capsize at Rajasthan‘s Kota at which 11 individuals have died while three are still lacking.
“Anguished by the capsizing of a ship in Kota, Rajasthan. My thoughts are with people who have lost their dear and near ones,” The Prime Minister’s Office tweeted.

Earlier in the afternoon, 11 bodies have been retrieved while 19 individuals were rescued after a ship carrying over 40 individuals into some temple capsized in that the Chambal river at that the Kota district. According to the official, three individuals are missing and save operation by National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) teams is penalized.
Chief Union Ashok Gehlot has announced that an ex-gratia of Rs 1 lakh each to the next of the kin of the men and women who perished in the episode.
