JAIPUR: three days following the private bus operators began their services in different paths throughout the nation, the passengers continue to be careful and scrutinizing that the Rajasthan State Roadways Corporation (RSRTC) buses. As lots of the private buses aren’t after the SOPs suggested from the state authorities, many passengers believe they aren’t safe.
TOI on Friday visited different routes from in which the private bus services are being worked such as Polo Victory, Sikar Road and Transport Nagar and discovered they had a minimal number of passengers. For many paths, the buses had to be cancelled because of lack of passengers.
“I really don’t know more about the personal players but we are the trusted operators because we’re a government company. I believe that it is time that we build client confidence with all our punctuality and solutions. This is why we’re considering extending our solutions to other places,” stated Naveen Jain, CMD, RSRTC.
RSRTC police said that in many paths their occupancy is greater than 70%. “Since the day we began our occupancy has improved. Folks have trusted our solutions,” said an officer.
Several personal buses which were waiting for ferry passengers to Sikar, Jhunjhunu and Churu, had several occupants.
“Sawaari nahin aa rahi roadways primary jaa rahi hai (passengers aren’t coming, they’re preferring RSRTC buses),” stated Hanumant Singh, driver of a private bus to Jhunjhunu.
