KOTA: The ACB on Wednesday detained a professional technical assistant (JTA) published in panchyat samiti Manhorethana at Jhalawar district along with also a middleman for allegedly taking a bribe of Rs ,000. The JTA had demanded bribe of Rs 15,000 for issuing needs to roll up and evaluation of work completed by a builder. Throughout search in his office-cum-living area in a rented accommodation, unaccounted money of Rs 13 lakh was also recovered while banking newspapers shown an additional Rs 9 lakh deposit.
The detained JTA was identified as Liyaqat Khan along with the middleman as Hashim, Baran ACB Agency Gyanchand Meena said. They’d taken a bribe of Rs ,000 from builder Balram Tanwar. The contractor had completed building of a pond in Haripura village however the JTA was demanding 15,000 for issuing a necessity roster up and carrying out examination of their job done for obligations, he explained.
