JAIPUR/KOTA: The governmental meltdown in Rajasthan took a fresh turn on Monday later Revenue Legislation and Enforcement Directorate teams spanned multiple assumptions of businessmen attached to individuals in chief minister Ashok Gehlot‘s camp.
Based on I-T officials, simultaneous investigations were conducted at Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur and Kota in offices of state Congress leaders and leaders near Gehlot, such as Rajeev Arora and Dharmendra Rathode, considered near the main ministry. Searches were conducted in the luxury resort and offices of Om Kothari, a Kotabased businessman. Unaccounted money, jewelry, land newspapers and lockers were captured, officials said.

Based on ED resources, investor Ratan Kant Sharma, a close aide of Gehlot’s son Vaibhav, is beneath the fiscal probe bureau’s scanner.
An ED origin asserted that Sharma had supposedly received approximately Rs 96.7 crore from Mauritius and has stakes in Hotel Fairmont.
The ED origin asserted that Sharma and Vaibhav Gehlot are business partners.
Sharma was summoned from the ED four times past. The agency suspects that largescale overseas trades have occurred.
