Congress putting strain on our MLAs, states Poonia | Jaipur News

JAIPUR: The BJP, which included the Congress for keeping its MLAs in resorts in Jaipur and Jaisalmer, has treaded the exact same route by sending its 18-20 MLAs into Gujarat fearing poaching and harassment from the ruling party in Rajasthan.
Based on party sources, the movement was taken after”Congress leaders approached chosen lawmakers.”
BJP said the danger was confirmed by BSP-turned-Congress MLA Rajendra Singh Gudha who on Saturday contested BJP state president Satish Poonia to create all its 72 MLAs at the meeting August 14.
“Such statements make it clear that the Congress may also resort to violence to rescue their own government. I’m hopeful that government will be note of these statements and take appropriate actions. When the authorities fail in their responsibilities, we’ll use legal alternatives available together with us,” explained Poonia.
Responding to a query about what input they received, he explained,”The inputs we’ve been getting from a point is that some senior bureaucrats and police officers from connivance with Congressmen are placing stress on our lawmakers particularly those belonging to ST and SC groups. Some businessmen are also included with this whole operation. They’ll be exposed at the ideal moment.”
About the amount of MLAs changed to Gujarat, Poonia said maintained the figure around 18-20. He distinguished that the fortification of its MLAs in the Congress factions- CM Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot. “Our MLAs are sent to escape from state-sponsored harassment while the ruling party is doing to rescue its authorities,” explained Poonia. From 18 MLAs, 10 are out of tribal chairs. Sources said the saffron party feared the rising influence of Bharatiya Tribal Party in Dungarpur and Banswara that has expanded its support to the Congress.
