ALWAR: Unearthing a racket of corruption in the municipality of Behror city of Alwar, a group of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Thursday detained four government officials such as executive officer, a junior scientist, a sales officer and a cashier of the Municipality, Behror for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 85,000.
The stated amount was required instead of releasing an outstanding payment of this criticism for the growth functions he’d finished. A private individual has also been detained in the case.
Manager general of ACB, Alok Tripathi said that a complainant approached the ACB headquarters also said that he had obtained job order for development functions in the Behror civic restrict area. “The complainant added that the job given to him has been finished in time and he had been anticipating payment of his dues of almost Rs 12. 50 lakh,” Tripathi added.
Consequently, the group of officers such as Manisha Yadav, the executive officer, Virendra Yadav the sales officer, Sanjiv Sharma the sales officer and cashier Yashoda Nandan Sharma required 8 percent of their total amounted invoice as bribe. They had been demanding this bribe instead of releasing the payment of the complainant.
Therefore, under the management of Additional Director General (ADG) ACB, Dinesh MN a snare was set. Adhering to the snare most of these officers were detained by the group of ACB. A private individual was also arrested in this case. Further investigations in the case were on, officials included.
