JAIPUR: The state government has chosen to book 2% homes for transgenders at all of the housing schemes to be established by Rajasthan Housing Board (RHB), development authorities and urban enhancement trusts (UITs).
The telling was published by the Urban Development and Housing (UDH ) division on Monday, to book homes for transgenders whose income is less than Rs 12 lakh per annum.
The UDH department also has amended the Urban Land Disposal Rules, 1974 to make provision for two% reservation for transgenders in home schemes which are going to be found on government property.
A formal in UDH told TOI,”The section obtained a proposition in 2017 in the transgender community. After amending the principles, the supply of reservation was created for them. Formerly, booking was made in housing strategies for the differently abled.”
Apart from this, the section has also complied the allotments performed at concessional prices in the past six-month tenure of the BJP government. Resources in the section stated, across the country that there have been 56 property allotments made on concessional prices.
Previously, instructions were issued into the growth government, urban enhancement trusts (UITs) and Rajasthan Housing Board (RHB) by the ministry to organize a listing mentioning the magnitude of this property and date where these plots were allocated.
As allotment in concessional rates to people and charitable institutions is thought of as”primary effort” to woo a specific part of voters or particular influential divisions, the Congress government will conduct a scrutiny of these property deals.
