KOTA: A 10-year old boy, who had been abducted in a village earlier this week, has been spared from Guna district in Madhya Pradesh by authorities and one individual was detained, an official said on Saturday.
The boy, identified as Rameshwar Lodha, was abducted from his house in Baran district around the night of Monday and Tuesday, authorities said.
The accused following day demanded a ransom of Rs 5 lakh in Lodha’s household, Baran SP Ravi Sabharwal said.
The boy’s family educated police after which five groups were formed to rescue the small, ” he explained.
Throughout the investigation, authorities discovered the the 10-year old boy and also the accused were at Guna district in Madhya Pradesh.
On Friday, authorities detained Shivraj Meena (50) while his associates were able to escape, ” the officer stated.
Meena has 27 criminal cases lodged against him in many police stations in Madhya Pradesh, authorities included.
