South Central Railway prepares railroad clinic to get Covid-19 therapy | Hyderabad News

HYDERABAD: The Central Railway Hospital in Lalaguda has stepped up its readiness to offer medical aid to patients diagnosed with the virus if there’s a necessity.
As stated by the South Central Railway (SCR) officials, agreements are being made according to the ICMR rules at the hospital to take care of patients. Following a railroad employee was examined positive, the workers unions filed a representation to SCR general supervisor to begin treating patients in the railroad hospital.
After which, the SCR officials also have written to the state authorities for permission to deal with Covid-19 patients. “A representation has been given saying that the railroad clinic is well-equipped with isolation wards and quarantine centers and will have the ability to take care of patients if needed,” stated an SCR official, under condition of anonymity.
