HYDERABAD: Just few months left to get that the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) elections, TRS functioning president KT Rama Rao has begun interacting with town MLAs by holding review meetings around the developmental actions being consumed in their meeting constituencies and their opinions.
To start with KTR held a meeting at Pragati Bhavan using MLAs of Malkajgiri Lok Sabha constituencies together with mayor Bonthu Rammohan, Medchal MLA and ministry Ch Malla Reddy along with other MLAs of LB Nagar, Uppal, Kukatpally and Malkajgiri TRS incharge Rajasekhar Reddy on Wednesday. The TRS functioning president is holding a meeting with MLAs of Secunderabad and also Chevella LS constituencies on Thursday.
The state government has taken up different jobs especially infrastructure projects such as construction of flyovers from the GHMC limits. Particular drive was taken up for construction of bathrooms and green growth (parks) functions will also be in full swing.
The municipal ministry said that the GHMC had used the lockdown period and finished street recovery works in town. While the ministry sought the comments on the functions from town, MLAs advised that people were pleased with the streets and other infrastructure projects which were taken up within their own colonies. LB Nagar MLA Sudheer Reddy stated L B Nagar Chowrasta got rid of visitors Issues.
The MLAs indicated every constituency must have Vaikuntadhamas (graveyards) on the lines of Mahaprasthanam at Jubilee Hills and operates just like beautification of lakes must accelerate. While expressing their joy over sanitation functions, they requested the KTR to take 2 BHK homes to the poor in the earliest. KTR advised that 75,000 homes were prepared for allotment from town, footpaths, connect roads and parks development functions have been progressing at lively pace, ” he explained.
The MLAs have provided a listing of functions which have to be consumed in their meeting constituencies.
