KCR government should strategy Supreme Court to prevent Andhra Pradesh from carrying up two irrigation projects: TPCC | Hyderabad News

TPCC president and Nalgonda MP N Uttam Kumar Reddy

HYDERABAD: Stating that there’s a danger of drinking water supplies into Greater Hyderabad being negatively impacted and south Telangana going ironic when the Andhra Pradesh authorities goes forward with Pothireddypadu growth and Rayalaseema Lift irrigation jobs , the Congress has advocated chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to immediately file a case at the Supreme Court seeking directions to scrap the AP government issued orders GO No. 203 and GO No. 388 for carrying out the 2 jobs.
The Congress also reiterated its requirement that CM KCR must attend the apex council assembly convened nearly on Wednesday to listen to the edition of the 2 countries on river water consumption especially to the 2 jobs consumed from AP state.
In a letter to CM KCR on Tuesday,” Telangana Congress president and Nalgonda MP N Uttam Kumar Reddy said the Supreme Court didn’t acknowledge a PIL and led Congress leader and former minister Nagam Janardhan Reddy to approach the state authorities when he’d registered a case in the apex court on Rajolibanda Diversion Scheme.
“The Supreme Court could entertain just state authorities in river water problems. The state authorities approached the apex Court from an early date prior to AP finalizes tenders on August 19 for implementation of the 2 jobs,” Uttam stated and required KCR must resign from CM article if he fails to prevent AP from taking up these 2 jobs.
Referring to CM KCR’s announcement that Telangana nation will set a”persistent legal struggle to prevent these jobs under any conditions,” that the TPCC chief asked the CM to immediately intervene because the water has been taken out the Krishna basin into the Pennar basin, which will be prohibited.
“It’s just following the apex council meeting on Krishna river water was initially known as by the Centre you (KCR) chose to hold a cabinet meeting on exactly the exact same afternoon to get around the apex council assembly. Is it impossible to maintain the cabinet meeting on August 4 or August 6 and also wait for the apex council meeting seeing Krishna river on August 5?” Uttam explained.
“You and your government have been boasting of Kaleshwaram lift irrigation project built at a cost of Rs 1 lakh crores of borrowed money (plus also a recurring cost of Rs 12,000 crore annually ) to lift two TMC of cash, also in precisely the exact same time you’re dismissing the strategy of AP authorities to eliminate 6.3 TMC of Krishna water daily that’s currently flowing into Telangana by gravity with no expense to Telangana say,” he said in the correspondence.
“When the AP government continues on and finishes the Pothireddypadu growth from 44,000 cusecs into 80,000 cusecs every day and construct Rayalaseema elevator to draw 3 TMC of Krishna water every day, the main purpose of production of separate Telangana (to reduce injustice in feasibility of water) will likely be defeated. You’ve fulfilled AP CM on many occasions and it’s shocking that you haven’t believed it appropriate to increase such a significant issue as previously,” Uttam stated in the letter.
“In the event the AP government does proceed with bodily execution of aforementioned functions, the Congress requires that you take moral duty for failing to guard the interests of Telangana and you need to resign as chief minister,” he explained.
