HYDERABAD: A Myanmar nationwide plus also a Mee Seva proprietor were nabbed by task force sleuths for supposedly getting Voter ID and Aadhaar card via illegal ways.
Mohammed Farooq, a native of Kossang in Myanmar that has been residing in Charminar, also Syed Quadeeruddin, that possesses Mee Seva at Moghalpura, were detained. From them authorities captured voter identification and Aadhaar card.
Authorities stated that Farooq by paying funds to Syed was able to get Voter ID and afterwards by using it got Aadhaar card. The accused Farooq first acquired voter card by submitting a power bill.
“All throughout the procedure the accused impersonated as Indian by suppressing private information, nationality,” additional deputy commissioner of police (Task Force) G Chakravarthy explained.
It had been at 2009 the accused Farooq came into India as a refugee and registered with United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and remained in Jammu & Kashmir until he jumped to Hyderabad at 2011.
