HYDERABAD: Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) will possess 587 and yet another 103 parks may arrive in Hyderabad Metro Development Area (HMDA), this season, minister of municipal and urban growth KTR advised the meeting on Tuesday.
Replying to a query during query hour on metropolitan areas in the country, the ministry stated other municipalities will get 1,109 metropolitan parks. “A full of fresh 1,799 urban parks will be developed this year as shrub parks, landscape parks, metropolitan forest parks and a few will probably be developed from panchatatva parks,” he explained.
Minister advised the house there are 1,893 developed parks in the nation. “The ministry KCR is quite enthusiastic that urban regions should have lung area, accordingly measures have been taken,” he explained.
There will not be any governmental advantage if green initiatives have been accepted, he added. The green pay has risen from only seven per cent at the outset of state creation to 29 percent currently from the nation. This season 1,000 nurseries will come up at the municipalities,” he explained.
