HYDERABAD: Constable E Vijay Kumar from Chilkalguda police station in Hyderabad, that contracted coronavirus at June this year whilst doing his responsibilities as front-line employee at Gandhi General Hospital, on Thursday given his plasma to conserve the life span of a senior doctor, who has handled 300 Covid-19 patients, until he contracted the disease.
The 60-year-old physician, who’s one of the many doctors linked with Manavatha Ashram at Wanaparthy, has been working Out Patient (OP) support for the advantage of Telangana Police since March to deal with and direct policemen, who’ve contracted Covid-19 or other disorders. As of this moment, this physician is undergoing treatment in a private hospital at Jubilee Hills.

“I contracted the virus while I was operating at Gandhi hospital. Afterwards, my loved ones were tested positive. Most of us have recovered. I feel glad I shared my blood to a physician needing, that has treated 300 Covid-19 patients since a front-line employee. I’m in contact with this patient’s son, who’s also a physician, and I had been advised that the individual’s condition was improving,” Vijay told TOI.
