HYDERABAD: This Bakrid 4,725 metric tonnes of animal waste has been created from town, based on Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) record.
On Saturday, 2770 metric tonnes of waste has been accumulated, the waste accumulated on Sunday stood ,955 metric tonnes. To collect and transport the waste, 403 vehicles were pressed into consideration. The vehicles comprise tippers, earthmovers and bobcats.
GHMC commissioner DS Lokesh Kumar educated civic body’s veterinary wing officers to guarantee beef abattoirs and animal slaughterhouses are closed on Sunday.
The civic officials also have transported the waste to Jawahar Nagar. In accordance with these, the waste was disposed of according to standards.
“We’ve the animal waste to six producing plants found on the outskirts of town,” explained Abdul Wakil, GHMC principal veterinary officer.
