Havildar Pranay Kalita last seen home in january

GUWAHATI: Assam awakened to the information of the passing of havildar Pranay Kalita, 38, of lower Assam’s Barpeta, that was one of the three Assam Rifle employees murdered in Manipur by alleged militants.
Condolences poured in both by within his village and throughout the country. Kalita last seen house in January, his relatives said, adding that he had been quite popular as a type and well-behaved man one of the villagers.
Havildar Pranay Kalita, combined the Assam Rifles on March 30 in 2001. Kalita is survived by his wife, parents and two brothers — two and 13 — all of whom live at Ghatbar village of Barpeta district.
A formal announcement from the Army is anticipated.
A comparative of Kalita told reportersthey received a call by an Assam Rifles officer . 55 am on Thursday, who advised them about the episode.
“He’s my brother-in-law but no less than a brother. He was able to visit us if he arrived home. His connection with the villagers was great and he treated every individual equally. I’m shocked and speechless,” he explained.
Another relative said,”He advised me that the problem wasn’t great when we spoke on Wednesday morning. I predicted in the day also, but on account of the inadequate community, we had been not able to associate with him. We received the information in the morning”
Chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal, while condemning the attack on Assam Rifles jawans, condoled the deaths. Sonowal stated his rites will probably be accomplished with complete state honours.
“This is a testing period for the family of murdered jawan Pranay Kalita, as I say my heartfelt compassion for the bereaved relatives and pray to God for eternal peace of the departed spirit,” Sonowal added.
Sonowal stated,”It is truly shocking to be aware of the loss of this life of a courageous jawan of the nation who became the innocent victim of this dastardly assault of the militants. Militancy isn’t a remedy to any issue instead it complicates the circumstance.”
