Punjab, Haryana anticipated to get rain in next two hours: IMD | Gurgaon News


NEW DELHI: Several sections of Uttar Pradesh and Haryana are very likely to get rain in the following two hours,” said India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday.
“Thunderstorm with rain could happen over and adjacent Regions of Loharu, Mahendargarh, Narnaul, Bijnaur, Meerut, Sambhal, Chandausi, Narora and Sahaswan throughout the next two hours,” that the IMD stated in a tweet.

Few sections of Gujarat, in addition to Delhi, will also be very likely to be battered by heavy rains on Saturday.
The Met department has predicted that thunderstorm accompanied by lightning and gusty winds are extremely likely at isolated places over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi.
Strong winds are also quite probably over southern, west-central and east-central Arabian Sea and Maharashtra shore and quite likely more than central Bay of Bengal.
The Met department has also counseled fishermen not to venture to the sea within these regions.
