Kurukshetra: Man sentenced to 10 years imprisonment for murder | Gurgaon News


KURUKSHETRA: The district court of Kurukshetra on Tuesday convicted an accused and sentenced him 10 years imprisonment for murder under Department 302 (punishment for murder) of those Indian Penal Code (IPC) and a fine of Rs 25,000.
In addition to paying the fine, convict would need to experience further imprisonment of one year advised, district attorney Rajbir Singh.
The Kurukshetra Department of session and district judge Ajay Kumar Sharda convicted Dhanpat Singh of Arnecha village of Pehowa region of this district under murder fees told urge Rajbir.
Rajbir stated on September 15, 2018, Sonu of Arnecha village lodged a complaint against his uncle Dhanpat Singh in Pehowa police station alleging that he killed his own brother Sandeep over trivial problems.
“Sonu said to the authorities his uncle Dhanpat was a habitual drinker. On September 12, 2018, his brother Sandeep and Dhanpat needed a scuffle on a petty issue in his uncle’s home. In the day, Dhanpat began fighting Sandeep within the scuffle, and throughout the struggle; he struck him with a wooden pole in his mind. Sandeep dropped on the floor and Dhanpat continued to strike him . Sandeep was hurried to the Mission Hospital, Pehowa, and then to a private hospital at Kurukshetra. He had been known to PGIMER, Chandigarh, where he succumbed to his injuries”, informed urge Rajbir.
He explained accused Dhanpat was detained May 9, 2019, and also a trial was implemented .
