YAMUNANAGAR: The offense investigation agency (CIA)-II of Yamunanagar authorities busted a gang engaged with printing fake money notes and detained two people after regaining fake notes with face value of Rs 2. 20 lakh from their possession on Tuesday, authorities said.
Yamunanagar authorities spokesperson Chamkaur Singh said those detained have been identified as Gulbahar of Jivala village in Saharanpur district of UP and Pankaj of Mirjapur at UP.
“The CIA-II of Yamunanagar authorities recovered fake currency worth Rs two. 20 lakh in their possession, a computer, and a printer employed in the offense,” explained Chamkaur.
