NEW DELHI: A 17-year old boy was murdered allegedly by his own friend after an argument broke out between them paying for a celebration in a shanty in northwest Delhi, authorities said on Tuesday.
The episode happened on Monday night after both teens alongside a buddy were using a get-together at among the shanties at Jahangirpuri, authorities said.
Their 22-year old buddy who had been witness to the incident told the authorities a quarrel broke out between the victim and the defendant within the payment to the celebration, an officer said.
Afterwards, the adolescent, who’s also 17 years old, fired one round in the victim and the bullet struck him on the chest. He had been rushed to a hospital where he was declared brought dead,” the officer stated.
The juvenile was apprehended. Not one of these were discovered to be drinking, the officer added.
A case was filed under Section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code and applicable segments of the Arms Act, authorities said.
