COIMBATORE: The Tamil Nadu forest division on Wednesday felicitated 16-year-old tribal woman C Sreedevi who procured 95percent in Course X Kerala plank of assessments.
Deputy manager of Pollachi branch of Anaimalai Tiger Reserve (ATR) S Arokiyaraj Xavier honoured the pupil using a memento and shawl.

“The woman deserves enormous appreciation along with also the felicitation ceremony was arranged to encourage the woman to continue her research. Inspired by her, other pupils also needs to continue their schooling,” said assistant conservator of forest (ACF) V Selvam.
“Despite the forest division, we’ve promised to extend all types of help to the woman to continue her schooling,” he explained.
Since Sreedevi wants to study science team in the exact same residential college, the officers went an excess mile by talking into the college management to make sure a chair was reserved to her.
“I believed it’d be really helpful if I had a notebook and when I hauled it to the officers, they’d agreed to get me ,” explained Sreedevi.
The woman has attended the atya patya national championship stunt.
