The brand new casualty ward in Madukkarai authorities hospital

COIMBATORE: The authorities hospital at Madukkarai close Coimbatore has been outfitted with a private casualty ward plus a full-size lab — permitting both divisions to operate better.
Before, the casualty ward consisted of only 1 mattress inside the hospital center, regardless of the hospital getting several injury and injury cases for first aid.
The lab was also working with an office and medicinal rooms. It will function individually, allowing samples to be gathered more conveniently and also to keep the area more sterile.
Kinathukadavu MLA A Shanmugam and district collector K Rajamani inaugurated the newest amenities at the hospital Wednesday. The brand new facilities worth nearly Rs 56 lakh was assembled and put up by L&T Valves, a subsidiary of Larsen and Toubro.
The brand new casualty ward comes with 2 beds. It’s been supplied with all emergency medications and equipment, such as oxygen tanks, to run emergency procedures.
“It mostly helps us decrease crowding in almost any of our wards,” said joint manager of health services, Dr Krishna.
“Before, everyone visiting will walk in the casualty cum outpatient ward, even if we must do emergency first aid. The brand new laboratory area, with connected rest rooms for women and men, making it easy to collect urine and blood samples in the room and also for individuals to return and gather their reports,” stated joint manager of health services, Dr Krishna.
“The hospital includes nearly 500 outpatients. It gets injury cases. Many kids are also attracted here because we’ve got a health care specialist,” explained Dr Krishna.
