Coimbatore lady, guy immolate themselves | Coimbatore News

COIMBATORE: A 26-year old wed girl plus also a 22-year-old guy immolated themselves close Vilankurichi at Coimbatore on Friday following their relatives and neighbours guessed their personality.
Both perished at the Coimbatore Medical College and Hospital (CMCH), in which they had been declared with 90percent burns.
Saravanampatti police inspector (law & order) V Selvaraj identified the victims as Sivasankari, spouse of Jagadeesh of Vilankurichi along with her neighbor Rajesh, son of Ramakrishnan. They had been living in different apartments in exactly the exact same building.
On Friday, the officer stated, both went on a two-wheeler and halted in a deserted house in Annamalai Nagar. “They doused themselves with gas and set themselves on fire. Hearing them shout in distress, people in the area hurried to the place and hurried them to CMCH within an ambulance.”
Before she died, Sivasankari told authorities she had taken the extreme measure on her and no one had instigated her. She had a three-year-old kid.
Rajesh, in his dying statement, told authorities they were close buddies and took the extreme measure as their relatives and neighbours contested their connection.
Authorities said Rajesh’s dad Ramakrishnan and the girl’s husband were working in a furniture store. “They stated Sivasankari and Rajesh became friends a couple of years back and there was not any dispute between them.”
Authorities have received complaints from Ramakrishnan and Jagadeesh and registered a case under Section 174 of this Code of Criminal Procedure. The figures will be handed over to the family members following postmortem on Saturday.
