CHENNAI: A 55-year-old girl cash lender was discovered dead with frothing out of her mouth at an pine farm at Tiruttani close Chennai on Thursday morning.
The deceased was identified as Navaneethammal, of Ponpadi village,
Navaneethammal is thought to have lent money to a girl called Sivagami of the identical village. Sivagami supposedly maintained spares from paying back the amount.
Navaneethammal, who abandoned home on Wednesday night to fulfill Sivagami to return her money, didn’t return home. Her family went searching for her and found her dead at a bamboo farm.
They advised police. Authorities discovered her golden earring, string along with also a nose-pin, entirely weighing at 10 sovereigns, were lost.
In accordance with the authorities, Sivagami was living with a guy from Andhra Pradesh for almost a year. She came from prison a week, after being remanded in an illegal liquor smuggling case.
The Tiruttani police started a search for Sivagami.
“Preliminary postmortem report indicated there were no external injuries to the victim’s entire body. We’re also looking for out whether it had been a snakebite,” explained Tiruttani Agency Ramesh.
