CHENNAI: Release of technology ranking list has been postponed to September 25 after the requests from pupils, Tamil Nadu higher education minister KP Anbalagan declared on Wednesday night. The status list was likely to be published on September 17.
Although the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) committee obtained 1,60,834 software this year for its internet counseling, just 1,31,436 applicants have paid the charges. One of them,14,206 candidates uploaded their certifications.
Because of thhe Covid-19 outbreak, the TNEA committee has made a decision to confirm the certifications without calling the pupils to the facilitation centres.
“Although the certification verification for the vast majority of candidates was finished, nevertheless a few pupils sought time to incorporate their certifications. Therefore, the launch of rank record is postponed to September 25,” the ministry stated in his announcement.
He requested all pupils to test on if their certifications are verified. When students have any doubts, then they could call the helplines 044-22351014 and 044-22351015.
According to the original program, the status list was to be published on September 7. The launch of status list was postponed to September 17 because of delay in Class XII revaluation.
