Three TN medical medical aspirants commit suicide on NEET eve | Chennai News


CHENNAI: Three pupils preparing for NEET finished their lives at Tamil Nadu on Saturday, on the eve of this examination.
The deceased have been identified as Jothi Sri Durga, 19, of Madurai, M Aadithya of Illakiyampatty at Dharmapuri district and M Mothilal, 21, of Tiruchengode at Namakkal district.
Jothi Sri Durga ended her own life by hanging her house in Madurai at the wee hours of Saturday. The medical aspirant was attending training classes to get ready for her next NEET effort.
Within her suicide notice, Durga said that she’d disappoint her family and others when she didn’t receive a medical chair. Her dad, Murugasundaram, is a sub-inspector connected to 6th battalion authorities. Police sources stated she examined for the examination on Saturday night also. Afterwards she went to sleep.
After everybody in the house slept, she woke up and chased herself in the hallway.
Like Durga, Aadithya was preparing for NEET for its next time. His suicide came to light around 6pm when his parents Manivannan, 47 and Jayachitra, 40 — returned home in Poosaripatty at Salem district. They discovered the main door shut from inside. Instead, they peeped through the window openings and discovered that their child dangling from the ceiling.
They alarmed the Dharmapuri town authorities. The police rushed to the place and recovered the body.
When contacted by TOI, Dharmapuri authorities superintendent of police Pravesh Kumar stated he had been interacting with Manivannan and Jayachitra to find the precise reason behind the youth’s departure. “The motive for Aadithya’s extreme conclusion is going to be determined only after question,” he explained.
