CHENNAI: Tough DMK leader M K Stalin to divert him from the party, Thousand Lights MLA K Selvam on Wednesday called upon DMK functionaries to combine the BJP, charging that there wasn’t any potential for functionaries over 55 years at the Dravidian celebration.
He was talking at the BJP state headquarters, Kamalalayam, later participate in a role, organised to observe laying of foundation stone for the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
Selvam stated his own destiny must be an eye opener . People who continue to stay in the DMK needs to be prepared to endure, ” he explained.
He fulfilled BJP national president P Nadda in Delhi on Tuesday. BJP national general secretary Muralidhar Rao, say president L Murugan and vice-president V P Duraisamy were present on the event.
After assembly Nadda, Selvam had denied that he had been joining the BJP. However, the DMK instantly eliminated him from all party places and suspended him in the celebration.
“They (DMK) issued me a show-cause note now. Should they have guts, then they could expel me from the party,” said Selvam, seemingly with a view to continuing as an unattached member of this meeting.
“I became an MLA to serve people of this constituency and to not listen to them (Stalin’s household ),” he explained.
Charging that dynastic politics and household’s disturbance was play at the DMK, he explained , he used to hear Karunanidhi, afterward his son Stalin and currently grandson Udhayanidhi.
He expressed his anguish over not being awarded the DMK district secretary article to him following the passing of J Anbazhagan.
Lately, Duraisamy once more sought to describe that Selvam hadn’t seen the celebration country headquarters to join with the BJP.
