CHENNAI: The CPM has demanded action against further DGP Sandeep Mittal as his tweets on his own confirmed Twitter manage”represent the voices and interests of this RSS.”
In separate letters to Tamil Nadu chief minister Edappadi K Palaniswami, the DGP and the home secretary, CPM state secretary K Balakrishnan has stated Mittal has been quite busy on social networking and also his tweets are accountable for the ruling party at the Centre in addition to the RSS as well as the organizations in encouraging the ruling institution.
He frequently joins speeches of RSS leaders onto his Twitter handle. “Every citizen of this nation has a right to decide to support a political party of the choice. However, once an official government support does this, he derelicts his obligation. His activities are punishable in accordance with the uniformed services recommendations in addition to legally too. His social networking postings are contrary to the Constitution of India and secularism and may disrupt public peace. He’s become ineligible to continue in support,” Balakrishnan said.
“Since Mittal belongs to Tamil Nadu cadre, I ask you to take legal actions against the stated official,” Balakrishnan said.
