College headmasters complained that many college students had flunked the quarterly and half-yearly exams.
“As per the federal government order, all college students, regardless of their marks in half-yearly and quarterly exams, can be promoted. The chief instructional officers have to tell it to all headmasters in excessive colleges and better secondary colleges,” a round from DGE mentioned.
Some colleges and trainer associations demanded that college students be given marks based mostly on half-yearly exams and revision exams.
