Covid-19: 9 deaths, 188 new cases reported from Punjab’s Patiala | Chandigarh News


PATIALA: Six deaths and 188 brand new Covid-19 cases were reported in Patiala on Sunday, carrying the tally from the district into 4,901. The death toll has reached 122 at the district as a total of 3,265 patients are treated and 1,514 are busy scenarios. Thus far, 71,708 samples are taken, of that, 63,197 proven to be negative while reports of 3,450 are awaited.
Patiala civil surgeon Dr Harish Malhotra reported that among borders cases reported nowadays, 91 are in Patiala block, 19 from Rajpura, 18 in Nabha, 13 from Samana, one by Sanaur, one by Patran and 45 from various villages of this district. He explained nine deaths were reported along with the patients were experiencing co-morbidity of the ailments such as BP, diabetes or coronary while some 30-year old resident of Lahouri Gate at Patiala had been HIV positive and has been admitted to government Rajindra hospital Patiala after breathing issue.
Back in Ropar, 17 more instances were reported Sunday taking the tally into 692 instances of that 235 are busy instances while 446 have been regained whereas 31,329 samples are taken so much of that 29640 have examined negative of this virus.
Back in Fatehgarh Sahib, 21 more instances were reported taking the tally into 889 of that 289 were busy, 582 were treated and 18 have expired so much whereas 161 outcomes were awaited.
