Karnataka CM BS Yediyurappa tests positive for Covid-19 | Bengaluru News


BENGALURU: Karnataka chief minister BS Yediyurappa at a late-night tweet on Sunday said he’s tested positive for Covid-19 pandemic and has been hospitalised to a”precautionary” foundation.
As stated by the CMO, the CM’s test results came as part of this once a week evaluation for Covid-19 conducted , besides the formerly in 15 times evaluation on CMO officials, performed by the medical department. The results were made available in 10pm Sunday night.

Inside his conversation, Yediyurappa said:”I’ve tested positive for coronavirus. Whilst I’m fine, I’m being hospitalised as a precaution on the recommendation of physicians. I ask those who’ve come in touch with me lately to become observant and workout self-quarantine.”
CMO officials state Yediyurappa has been confessed to Manipal hospital as a preventative measure and has until now revealed no signs of this virus.
At least three of his coworkers CT Ravi, Anand Singh and BC Patil — had tested positive for Covid-19 from the current month.
He’s the next chief minister, following his Madhya Pradesh counterpart Shivraj Singh Chouhan, to be infected with the coronavirus.
Yediyurappa in 77 is among the earliest CMs from the nation and falls under the”vulnerable group”.
