BENGALURU: Following a surge of Covid-19 instances, Karnataka Government has made a decision to inflict complete lockdown each Sunday from the country till August 2.
But, essential activities will be allowed during the curfew. Marriages which were already fixed on Sundays would also be permitted under the guidelines.
On Saturday, the state authorities had enforced a entire lockdown beneath the regions of Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP). While the lockdown began from 8pm final day, it would last until 5am Monday morning, using just sale of crucial items allowed.
