PRAYAGRAJ: The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) volunteers at Prayagraj will take dirt and water out of Sangam — the confluence of Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati — such as Bhoomi Pujan of Ram temple in Ayodhya on August 5.
VHP spokesman Ashwani Mishra told TOI,”Former VHP president Ashok Singhal had stated that the holy water and dirt from Sangam ought to be utilised at Bhoomi Pujan of the Ram temple in Ayodhya. Our volunteers could take Sangam dirt and water to Ayodhya.” “Our senior leaders will shortly select names of associates that will visit Ayodhya,” he added.
