Straight Up on Netflix

It has been a quiet week for new films on Netflix this week but we have sifted through the riff-raff and picked out four exceptional new films for you test out and one which you might have missed on the way.

In case you missed some of these new releases this week, then it is possible to discover a whole weekly recap . You may find even more picture recommendations from past week .

Ride Like a Girl (2019)

Manager: Rachel Griffiths
Cast: Teresa Palmer, Sam Neill, Sullivan Stapleton, Aaron Glenane

This feel-good household picture from Australia is a narrative of a young woman who went onto win the coveted Melbourne cup beating her elderly 9 siblings.

Inspirational narrative on a little budget with Teresa Palmer displaying her acting ability to full-effect here.

Straight Up (2019)

Genre: Comedy, Romance

While Hulu has Love Victor, Straight Up is a great Netflix alternative.

The rom-com is all about two soul mates who share an unfinished relationship and that is how they like it. That is because he is gay and she does not mind.

Reviews are usually fairly favorable for Straight Up holding a 6.4 on IMDb plus also a 65 on Metacritic.

Cast: Rachel McAdams, Pierce Brosnan, Will Ferrell, Jamie Demetriou

Netflix’s own huge picture of the week is that the Will Ferrell comedy film based on the European Eurovision song competition.

Having an all-star cast, superb guest appearances for lovers of the singing competition and a stellar soundtrack, there is something for everybody here.

It is camp and eccentric, exactly enjoy the contest . Well worth a watch if you are a Ferrell enthusiast or desiring something fresh.

Woodshock (2017)

Seeking something somewhat contentious? Woodshock must do the trick since it well and really divided audiences in the right time of launch and proceeds to to this day.

Additional last Sunday, the film stars Kirsten Dunst who plays with a girl who’s losing touch with reality after accepting new medicine.

Wasp Network

Genre: Thriller

One Netflix Original film which appears to be lingering on the very best 10 graphs is Wasp Network. We did attribute it a week but we are featuring again as it is a picture that is growing on me as the weeks go by.

Based upon the true story, this thriller has some exceptional titles attached and follows Cuban spies infiltrating various exile groups.
