U.S. Treasury, SBA to disclose names of the majority of companies taking PPP loans

The U.S. Treasury Department and Small Business Administration said on Friday they’d disclose names and other particulars about companies which take Paycheck Protection Program loans of $150,000 or even more.

“SBA will disclose the company names, addresses, NAICS codes, zip codes, company type, demographic information, non-profit info, jobs encouraged, and loan number ranges” in five distinct mounts beginning from $150,000, SBA and the Treasury said in a statement.

Those classes account for 75percent of the loan bucks accepted, it stated. “For loans under $150,000, totals will be published, aggregated by zip code, by business, by company type, and from different demographic groups,” it added.
